Luxor Nursing and Rehab at Mills Pond With 5 Vacation Spots You May Not Have Thought Of

We’re still a few weeks away from escaping winter’s clutches, so it’s the perfect time to plan a summer getaway! And that doesn’t mean you have to break the bank to get some rest and relaxation in a unique location.

Luxor Nursing and Rehab at Mills Pond want to introduce you to five vacation spots that you may not have heard of when considering your next trip.

  • Block Island, Rhode Island

This isn’t your typical coastal getaway; 13 miles off the coast, It’s only accessible by boat or plane, but it’s worth it once you get there. Much of the island is preserved in its natural state, but there are also the usual comforts of a beach town, so you’re sure to find something to enjoy in this tranquil location.

  • Traverse City, Michigan

Cherry fans will want to descend upon Traverse City in July for the annual Cherry Festival, but there’s a lot of see here year-round. This bayside town has plenty of charm and mild weather over the summer.

  • Lake Norman, North Carolina

If you’re a fishing or boating enthusiast, descend upon the largest man-made lake in North Carolina. Located in the Charlotte vicinity, there are plenty of cultural and community events happening on land as well.

  • Camden, Maine

This is a popular spot for New Englanders and the like, as this quaint pier town springs to life in the summer months. You can enjoy adventures on the water, enjoy a fresh Maine lobster, or tour historic lighthouses during your trip.

  • Gulf Shores, Alabama

If you love going south to the beach for the summer but are looking to avoid the crowds in the usual tourist destinations, try Gulf Shores, Alabama. You’ll get the waves and the warm breeze along with loads of southern hospitality and charm. The fine, sugar-white sand washed down from the Appalachian Mountains thousands of years ago and is perfect to settle into while enjoying a sunset over the Gulf.
