For some families, the worry is that an aging parent would wander into the woods.
For others, it’s the fear of a medical emergency they are not equipped to meet.
Mellie couldn't bear to be a burden on her married children. But her two sons wouldn’t trust a stranger with her care. Then they discovered Mills Pond. Our facility is now their official family room.
From our dedicated, secured Dementia unit to our hospital-grade medical abilities, Luxor at Mills Pond meets a
crucial need for advanced clinical care. We are celebrated throughout the region for filling this void for both
short-term and long-term residents.
We have the team and the modalities in place to address complex cases and avoid rehospitalization with full
confidence. Many of our doctors are affiliated with top hospitals in the region. That includes our lead physician,
whose full time job is to serve our long-term residents, 5 days a week, by name, for the full duration of their
stay with us.
To us, resident is just another word for family member. So 24-hour care means we know where each resident is, how they are doing, what they need now and what they’ll need next, and how their progress is taking shape.
We believe even long-term care can be expedited. By empowering our clinical team with state-of-the-art care machinery, we equip them to improve prognosis, accelerate recovery, and beat doubt.
Hospitals choose us for what we are capable of, but families trust us for how we do it. Each long-term care resident enjoys a personalized plan of action developed for where they are today—and their best possible future.

We are aware of the Governor’s new guidance regarding nursing home visitors.
We are as excited as you are to welcome you all back to our facility but need
to ensure that we do so safely and in keeping with the guidelines outlined in
the Governor’s letter .
At this time, we are closed for visitation.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
In light of recent events as a result of the COVID pandemic, we know that communication with the facility, our Social Workers and most importantly, your loved ones, is more important than ever. Furthermore, not being able to visit your loved one only adds to that need. As a result, our call lines have been unusually busy and our staff have been working tirelessly to stay in touch with you, our family members.
To that end, we offer this online form as an added way for you to reach out and make requests.
Please feel free to complete the form, once submitted we will reach out to you as soon as we can, stay well and thank you for bearing with us during these trying times.
